Anjunabeats Worldwide 05 by Ilan Bluestone Review

It is always a beautiful day when a new Anjunabeats Worldwide compilation comes out! Anjunabeats’ hottest rising star and one of my personal favorites, Ilan Bluestone takes the helm for the relaunch of the beloved and legendary Anjunabeats Worldwide series – following in the footsteps of such Anjunabeats favorites such as Mat Zo, Arty, and Super8 & Tab. A truly well-built compilation, there was only one downfall… I’ve heard about 90% of the tracks in the past few weeks, but I still enjoyed every second of it!

I loved the fact that a large number of Ilan Bluestone’s own productions are featured in the Anjunabeats Worldwide 05 compilation, as I’m eagerly waiting his own studio release. From tracks like ‘Cloudchaser’ to one of my personal favorites, ’43,’ Bluestone truly knows how deliver beautiful songs to his fans. A few of my current favorite tracks were also featured in this compilation, such as Kyau & Albert’s new track ‘Color Field’ and Super8 & Tab’s ‘Patience’ featuring Julie Thompson. As you all have heard from me before, I’m a huge fan of Julie Thompson’s vocals and though I’ve been fond of the recent Tom Fall remix, this club mix of ‘Patience’ was still enjoyable.

A huge surprise for me was the track ‘All These Wounds,’ which is a brand new collaboration between Ilan Bluestone and one of my all-time favorite producers, BT. Featuring Stef Lang, ‘All These Wounds’ is a truly magnificent track with a unique sound reminiscent of both BT and Ilan Bluestone productions. Anjunabeats Worldwide 05 also has two tracks from Andrew Bayer’s ‘Do Androids Dream EP’ as well as two new remixes of tracks from Above & Beyond’s ‘We Are All We Need’ album.

I promise you, this is definitely one compilation worth your time!
