Anjunabeats Worldwide 451 – Shingo Nakamura

Anjunabeats Worldwide 451 – Shingo Nakamura

After a 2 week hiatus following the marathon 450th episode, Anjunabeats Worldwide is back with a new episode mixed by Shingo Nakamura. The 29 year old Japanese producer has made his fair share of tracks and we got to hear all about him in this week’s podcast. I can’t say I knew a whole lot about him other than his collaboration with Jody Wisternoff and James Grant called ‘Another Tone’ and his brand new remix of ‘Bring Me Back Around’ by Boom Jinx and Meredith Call, which was released on Anjunabeats. In this jam-packed hour we heard tracks from Meramek, Jaytech and so many more of our favorites!

Some of you may not know, but Meramek is actually an alias of Oliver Smith, who has been with Anjunabeats for over a decade. Featured on Anjunadeep 07, ‘Know Me’ is a winner with its heavy bassline and crafty melodies. It’s hard to not appreciate the kind of talent Oliver Smith has when he releases tracks such as this one.

For months now I’ve been itching to see Australian Anjunabeats producer Jaytech. This release of his with Matt Fax, entitled ‘Aeris’ doesn’t do anything for me but make that itch worse. What I love most about it is the soothing progression paired with fantastic bass. A crowd pleaser guaranteed, this would work very well on any dance floor.

I’m sure this won’t be the last we hear of Shingo Nakamura. He has countless releases under his belt and his sound fits Anjunadeep very well. It was a very respectable follow up to the 450 minute madness of two weeks ago and I’m already looking forward to next week.
