CC Radio 439: Corsten’s Countdown 439

The 439th episode of Corsten’s Countdown featured a new track from Lange, a premiere from Ferry Corsten’s Hello World EP Part 3, and a fantastic Listener’s Choice from my all-time favorite trio dating back to 2006. We also had a very similar top 3 to last week…

Ferry’s newest track ‘Not Alone’ from his upcoming EP is a collaboration with Temperheart. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t a fan when I first heard it, but having listened to it a few times now; it’s now growing on me. For me, Lange is the kind of producer who has always been around but has never really gotten the attention he deserves. His newest track entitled ‘On Your Side,’ features an increasingly addicting melody alongside brilliant vocals from a relatively unknown vocalist, Tom Tyler. The intense buildup and euphoric breakdown are a thing of beauty in this vocal trancer.

The Listener’s Choice this week was the club mix of ‘Alone Tonight’ by Above & Beyond. Released way back in 2006, it has to be my favorite classic track from the Anjuna bosses. I’m a big fan of the recent bootleg Jason Ross put on the track as well, even though it has yet to be released. For the second week in a row, ‘Follow You’ by Ferry Corsten took home the top spot on the countdown. In second, was my favorite from last week, ‘Bocanegra’ by Dimension. No surprises here, as ‘Anahera’ rounded out the top 3.

Could we see a top 3 of ALL Ferry Corsten tracks next week?

Entirely possible! Tune in next Wednesday for CC Radio 440 to find out.
