CC Radio 440: Corsten’s Countdown 440

Corsten’s Countdown is back with another hour of some of the newest and hottest trance out there. Hard to believe we’re on to episode 440 already. This week’s show featured tracks from Klauss Goulart, a flashback from First State, and a brand new number 1. We also got some extremely exciting news regarding Ferry’s Gouryella alias, so let’s dive in!

Soon to be released on Coldharbour Recordings, Klauss Goulart’s track ‘Bashert’ is a heavy hitter from the get-go. It quickly became my favorite of the week. Having been featured on several podcasts lately from artists such as Ben Gold, Arkham Knights, and Markus Schulz, Bashert has quickly become a fan favorite with some very positive reviews. First State’s self-titled track, originally released back in 2005, was this week’s Listener’s Choice. Originally consisting of Ralph Barendse and Sander van der Waal, the track has a kind of mesmerising sound to it. Kudos to Mario in Brazil for the request!

The track that finished on top this week was ‘Bocanegra’ by Dimension. You’ll recall it finished in 2nd last week just behind ‘Follow You’ by Ferry Corsten, which was this week’s number 2. But as always, the top 3 would not be complete without an ‘Anahera’ showing. Ferry dropped some massive news on us all this week by announcing that he will be touring as Gouryella in 2016. I couldn’t be more excited about this and I’m surely hoping he will be making an appearance at a major festival that I’ll be attending in the summer.

That’s it for this week! I hope you enjoyed the episode and be sure to check out CC Radio 441 next Wednesday to see what tracks make the top 3!
