Markus Schulz – Global DJ Broadcast: GDJB 09-10-2015

As the Ibiza Summer Sessions are coming to an end, here is a journey that will surprise you. As many of you avid listeners know, Markus loves to surprise his fans. As such, most of the tracks were very smooth, but some were extremely hard hitting. But truth be told, I love when Markus does this as it’s a rollercoaster of emotions for me.

Are you ready for the ride?

Recently, ‘Gamma Gamma’ has been one of my favorite tracks. I’m not a dedicated Tritonian, but this track is beginning to make me one! Of course, this week’s GDJB featured Ferry Corsten’s remix. No need to elaborate, as this track is a true taste of the old Tritonian trance. But a Global DJ Broadcast is never complete, unless at least one Above & Beyond track is featured. They just released ‘Fly to New York’ as a single and I believe that this particular remix will be the first of many. A club mix paired with Anjunabeats’ rising star, Jason Ross, it is a sweet ode to the Big Apple with powerful Zoë Johnston lyrics. I believe ‘Fly To New York’ is one track that will have a special place in the hearts of all Above & Beyond fans.

Last track worth mentioning is from the “Dreamers” themselves. Real life couple MaRLo & Jano team up on the sweet melody known as ‘The Dreamers.’ Jano’s soft vocals will always bring tears to my eyes. As always, MaRLo brings trance perfection to this beautiful collaboration. I believe this track is well on it’s way to becoming a staple in trance sets worldwide, especially since it’s been featured in just about every ASOT show recently.

I am so happy to be back with you guys and reporting on the weekly Global DJ Broadcast. This week was incredible hearing new tracks from all of the trance heavy hitters. I am definitely looking forward to the next edition of GDJB and I hope you are too!
