Global DJ Broadcast Oct 01 2015 (with Mark Sherry)

Fresh off the Ibiza Summer Sessions run, GDJB has returned to normalcy with a new studio session. As, always this week featured some of the old, some of the new, and a very exciting guest spot by Mark Sherry.

Markus starts off with a bang sharing his newest edition to his city series, ‘Cathedral,’ which is dedicated to the people of Montreal, Quebec. This one just made its debut last month after his show at Stereo and it’s extremely reminiscent of what the old Markus Schulz used to produce. It’s very special to him as he has many wonderful memories playing in Canada. As the broadcast goes on, the next notable track is somewhat surprising from me. I don’t have much taste for Seven Lions but this festival mix of ‘Falling Away’ draws me back into the festival circuit. I feel like once I’m done, all it takes is one track like this to pull me back.

Now we come to the Mark Sherry’s guest spot. Hands down, this has to be one of the greatest guest spots I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to on GDJB. Sherry’s sound is similar to Markus’s, yet his take on trance is revolutionary. One listen to his Outburst Radio and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. One of my favorite tracks had to be ‘Acid Air Raid’ in Mark Sherry’s Acidburst Mix. If you’re an old school trancer that loves your tracks acidic, this will surely make your day.

I was more than impressed by this week’s Global DJ Broadcast. With Markus’s selection of luscious sounds and Mark Sherry’s guest spot, this episode is unrivaled. Make sure to join us next week for your weekly dose of GDJB!
