Global DJ Broadcast Oct 15 2015 (with Rex Mundi)

GDJB is back with a brand new studio session! This week featured a guest mix from Rex Mundi and music straight from the Trance Nation mix that has just been released by Markus himself. As Markus is in Amsterdam at ADE, he shares this GDJB with all of us who are bummed that we can not be there.

Starting off the podcast is the world premiere of the next edition in his revered city series! ‘Dancing In The Red Light’ is a special track dedicated to the infamous Red Light District of Amsterdam. This track tells a scandalous story of subduction and it’s definitely worthy of a city series track. Moving along in the podcast is another track that combines two powerhouses into one. Mark Sixma joins forces with Emma Hewitt to create a beautiful track entitled ‘Restless Hearts.’ It’s a track so well fit for the podcast that it almost makes me cry!

Emma’s vocals are always unreal.

Of course, to wrap everything up with a bow, Rex Mundi takes on an unreal trance journey! I’ve never heard of a set completely filled with IDs, but I guess this is the man to do it. As Markus put it, “he’s one of the most creative minds among the Coldharbour family, he continues to amaze with his production wizardry.” Either way, without an available tracklist to take a look at, you definitely have to listen to this whole episode as it was certainly one of the most transcending guest mixes I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to on GDJB.

My last feature is a track straight from the Trance Nation mix entitled ‘Bashert (We’ll Meet Again)’ by Klauss Goulart. A DJ with so much potential, Klauss, has been featured in almost every Markus Schulz set in recent months (as I definitely know what tracks Markus drops). This particular song fit perfectly in GDJB because it stays true to the Coldharbour sound.

Another week has passed for GDJB and all of us in the Schulz Army wish we were at ADE with our Unicorn Slayer. Markus played a surprise set with Ferry Corsten and my heart broke a bit. This GDJB was a temporary band aid to mend my broken heart missing all the fun in Amsterdam. Till next week!
