Monoverse Radio 051
We welcome a new addition to our archives here at Trance Life, the twice monthly Monoverse Radio podcast. Following our first ever artist interview with Monoverse himself, we decided to further our working relationship with him by covering his show. During our feature, Monoverse mentioned that a key feature of his show was the diversity of his track selection and his ability to find music that you would not hear in sets from the larger weekly radio shows. We pick up on episode 051 of Monoverse Radio, and find his claims to be entirely truthful.
Due to scheduling of the Monoverse Radio 050 event, the show was on a brief hiatus until returning to it’s regularly scheduled programming this week and this gave Monoverse incentive to dig back in releases. Starting the show with deep melodic trance tunes from Rick Pier O’Neil, Mike Koglin, and Hazem Beltagui, Monoverse perfectly crafts a journey from start to finish in this episode. He includes tracks from Pablo Artigas and Blugazer half way through the show, who are staple artists in the Monoverse Radio episodes and just so happen to be some of the most talented up and coming east coast producers from the United States, like our show host himself. It’s quite refreshing to find many lesser known artists in this mix, and there is certainly no shortage of variety in styles and sounds.
While this episode started with deep and laid back vibes, it picks up quickly in the second half featuring a new remix from Monoverse himself, a new tech-trancer from Lange, Tempo Giusto & Stephen Kirkwood who are Monoverse’s colleagues on the recent Lange Recordings 200th release, and even ending the show with two banging vocal and uplifting trance mashups. It seems there really is something for everyone in the Monoverse Radio episodes, and we look forward to continuing coverage on the series here at Trance Life.
