Monoverse Radio 052

Monoverse Radio, every second and fourth Monday of the month, returns with Episode 052 – the first of the two monthly episodes and a quality selection of progressive and trance tunes. The show starts with the usual warm summer vibes and progresses into the heavier sounds from artists like Maor Levi, Fisherman & Hawkins, and Tempo Giusto. The first track of the mix, though, truly sets the standard for quality in this set. Jav3x’s ‘Dreamscape’ on Elliptical Sun Melodies is a masterfully crafted progressive trance tune. Along those lines, Lakros’ ‘Starshine’ also caught our ear in the early parts of this mix, a sublime release on High Contrast Recordings.

The mix quickly changes pace with Ost & Meyer’s collaboration with Stan Arwell, ‘Flare,’ one of our favorites from A State Of Trance Episode 738. The heavily Anjunabeats-flavored sound is followed flawlessly by Maor Levi’s ‘Mercury,’ a remarkable track that’s part of Levi’s returning EP for Above & Beyond’s label. Following that, the classic ‘Another You Another Me’ by Lange and Gareth Emery in the epic rework by Solis & Sean Truby and the strong remix by Fisherman & Hawkins of Bart Claessen’s timeless ‘Hartseer’ ramp up the energy.

After the epic ‘Techcorp’ by Tempo Giusto, the show rounds off in uplifting territory with tracks from Araya & Mark Dreamer and Bjorn Akesson, but closes with a modern trance track that has an undeniably classic feel in Arcuate & Joe Lyons’ ‘Nebula’ – ending the show with yet another noteworthy track. Episode 052 of Monoverse Radio has a truly natural progression and introduced us to a hand full of new artists while showcasing some of our favorites at the same time. Enjoy!
